On June 4, we exhibited at the “Charity Flea Market for Living and Tableware” held at arflex Tokyo, a space of high quality and tranquil beauty.

The venue was lined with exhibits that transcended genres and shined with taste, including masterpieces of traditional Japanese beauty such as Ko-Imari and antique Kiyomizu-yaki, prints from Scandinavia, and tableware and tools that add color to a careful lifestyle. It was impressive to see so many visitors carefully picking out their favorites.

This was the first time for us to present our new works to the general public, including the ceramic shingle plates, and many people purchased the Hashi Stand and Kutani art plates. We were surprised that the pieces were purchased in the order in which we were most confident of their quality, and at the same time, we were deeply impressed by the aesthetic sense of our customers.

A portion (10%) of the proceeds will be donated to Ashinaga Scholarship Society and Save the Children. We sympathize with the purpose of the association, and as an exhibitor, it was a very meaningful day for us.
