The comprehensive commercial space design site “BAMBOO MEDIA” featured the terrazzo bench project, a collaboration between Yuko Nagayama & Associates, Sekigahara Stone, and CACL.

This bench incorporates upcycled fragments of Kutani porcelain—discarded white porcelain pieces that were on the verge of being thrown away as non-standard products—used as aggregate in the terrazzo material. White porcelain, employed before the painting stage, is characterized by its clear and pure whiteness.

Materials that once had no place to go have now been given new life in an innovative form.
